Earth & Form: An Evening with Dustin Gimbel
Canary House Hospitality Presents
Earth & Form
An Evening with Dustin Gimbel at Laswell
An intimate gallery opening celebrating the unveiling of Dustin Gimbel's newest ceramic works at Laswell, a restored 1947 Palm Springs desert modern home.
Guests will experience Laswell as a living gallery, where architecture, landscape, and sculpture come together for one evening. The event will debut Dustin's newest collection of outdoor ceramic sculptures throughout the gardens and pool terrace, culminating in the unveiling of a site-specific ceramic wall installation created exclusively for Laswell.
As the sun sets behind the San Jacinto Mountains, guests are invited to wander the property with a glass of wine in hand, meet the artist, and experience each piece in the environment for which it was intended.
The evening includes:
Private preview of Dustin Gimbel's newest ceramic sculpture collection
Unveiling of the permanent Laswell ceramic wall installation
Artist conversation and Q&A
Curated wines and seasonal hors d'oeuvres
Live acoustic music
Sunset garden reception
Opportunity to acquire featured works
More than an exhibition, Earth & Form explores the relationship between handmade ceramics, desert modern architecture, and the California landscape—transforming Laswell into a home where art is experienced as part of everyday living.
